What is HAIRS?

  • Hanseo Aviation Voluntary Incident Reporting Systems(HAIRS) is a system to prevent aviation safety accidents in advance by preparing improvement measures by reporting events, conditions, or situations that may hinder or hinder aviation safety through self-report.

Who's reporting?

There are no restrictions on the scope of the reporter, including the staff and students of the pilot, control, maintenance, ground, and Taean campus of Hanseo University.

What do you report?

  • Anything related to aviation safety is possible in all dangerous conditions, situations, and events that harm or are likely to harm aviation safety.
    • Information on safety incidents and risk factors related to aircraft operation
    • Information on safety incidents and risk factors related to air traffic control
    • Information on safety incidents and hazards related to aircraft maintenance and technology
    • Information on safety incidents and risk factors related to aircraft operation management
    • Information on safety incidents and hazards related to the airfield
    • Other safety information that may help with aviation safety

What's in the interest of the reporter?

Except for cases caused by intentional or gross negligence, if the incident is reported through the self-report system within 10 days from the date of occurrence, it will be exempted from administrative disposition as prescribed by the Aviation Safety Act and listed as subject to the safety reward of Hanso University's SMS safety management system

Is there any disadvantage to the reporter?

  • The aviation safety self-report system is a confidential reporting system, and the identity of reporters and related persons is thoroughly protected under the Aviation Safety Act.

Where and how do I report it?
