태안 비행교육원은 한서대학교 부설교육기관으로서 아시아 최초의 대학 내 자체 훈련 목적의 태안 비행장을 보유하고 있으며 비행장 내에는 기초 비행훈련에서부터 전문 직업조종사의 비행 훈련에 이르기 까지 완벽한 교육을 위하여 관제탑, 정비동, 운항관리실, 항공정보실, 항공유 저유시설, 기상측정장비, 기숙시설 등을 갖추고 있습니다.

태안 비행교육원은 한서대학교 항공운항학과, 헬리콥터조종학과, 항공교통학과로 부터의 비행학생에 대한 위탁교육을 각 학과의 요구에 맞추어 충실히 시행하고 있습니다. 또한 한서대학교 비행교육원은 대한민국 항공 산업의 저변 확대 및 항공분야의 발전을 위하여 한서대학교 학생이면 누구나 비행교육의 기회가 신청자에게 주어지며 일반인들을 위한 비행교육과정도 개설하여 소수에게만 국한 되었던 비행교육 문호를 개방해 줌으로써 보다 많은 이들에게 조종사의 꿈을 실현해 나아갈 수 있도록 노력하고 있습니다.

한서대학교 태안비행교육원은 항공운항학과의 요구에 맞추어 전문 직업조종사 배출을 목표로 항공운항학과 학생들에게 사업용 조종사 통합 교육과정을 제공하고 있으며, 헬리콥터조종학과 학생들에게는 자가용 조종사 헬리콥터 과정을 교육시키고 있습니다.

현재 태안 비행교육원에서는 비행기 자가용 조종사, 비행기 사업용(자가용, 계기, 사업용), 비행기 조종교육증명(단발,다발), 비행기 등급한정추가(단발,다발), 제트 형식한정(C525), 터보프럽 항공기 전환 과정, 헬리콥터(자가용, 계기비행, 사업용)조종사, 헬리콥터 조종교육증명 과정을 개설하여 조종사 입문에서부터 항공전문 인력을 체계적으로 양성하고 있습니다.

Taean Flight Education Center, an affiliated educational institution of Hanseo University, houses the first university-operated training airfield in Asia, dedicated to comprehensive education ranging from basic flight training to professional pilot training. The airfield is equipped with a control tower, maintenance hangar, flight operations control room, aviation information room, aviation fuel storage facilities, weather measurement equipment, and dormitory facilities to ensure perfect training.

Taean Flight Education Center faithfully conducts entrusted education for flight students from Hanseo University's Department of Aviation Operations, Department of Helicopter Operations, and Department of Air Traffic, tailored to each department's requirements. Additionally, Hanseo University Flight Education Center is committed to expanding the base of the aviation industry in South Korea and advancing the aviation field. Any Hanseo University student is given the opportunity to receive flight training, and flight training courses are also open to the general public, thus opening the doors of flight education that were previously limited to a few, allowing more people to pursue their dreams of becoming pilots.

Hanseo University's Taean Flight Education Center provides integrated commercial pilot training courses for students in the Department of Flight Operations, aiming to produce professional commercial pilots. For students in the Department of Helicopter Operations, the center offers private pilot helicopter courses.

Currently, Taean Flight Education Center offers a variety of training programs, including airplane private pilot, airplane commercial pilot (private, instrument, commercial), airplane flight instructor certificates (single-engine, multi-engine), additional airplane ratings (single-engine, multi-engine), jet type ratings (C525), turboprop aircraft transition courses, helicopter pilot licenses (private, instrument, commercial), and helicopter flight instructor courses.
